Journal of Mining Science a translation of Fiziko-Teknischeskie Problemy Razrabotki Poleznykh Iskopaemykh a publication of the Siberian section of the Academy of Sciences contains articles on all areas of mining engineering. These include papers on the mechanical properties pressure distribution brittleness drillability and blast behavior of rock in mines; new drilling machinery; techniques of ventilation etc. The Russian volume-year is published in English beginning in July.
